Here We Go Again
It’s been almost two years since The Sopranos wrapped up production and the final 9 episodes aired on HBO. So here I am, 10 years after the show first premiered, starting a new blog about The Sopranos. You must think I’m crazy. Well it’s true.
I’m a crazed Sopranos fan who originates from South Jersey, not North Jersey. Richland, New Jersey to be exact. However it’s not because of my love of New Jersey that I’m starting this blog, it’s my love of this show, the story, the characters, the writing, the music, the directing, the visuals, the experience and the memories that the show has left me with.
I’m starting this blog because I’m tired of posting random Sopranos posts on my normal blog, because I’m guessing about 95% of the people that read that blog aren’t even Sopranos fans. I’m starting this blog because I want to start from the beginning and I’m hoping that a few Sopranos fans will find this blog along the way. Whether you watched the show ever since 1999 or you downloaded the whole shebang from iTunes or rented it from NetFlix.
I’m planning on going back to watch each and every episode and to post my thoughts on each one, the memories that come with it and any insight I can that ties into the legacy of the Sopranos, whether it’s dealing with mystery of the final episode, the missing Russian, or Furio.
I’ll also be posting some pictures, videos and memorabilia I have dealing with the Sopranos.
Any Sopranos fans out there? Won’t you join me?
-Charley
Update: For those of you wondering why I picked the name “All Due Respect” for the blog, it’s from the title of the Season 5 final episode of The Sopranos, which also included one of my favorite Tony Soprano quotes (quite possibly ever):
“All due respect, you got no fuckin’ idea what it’s like to be number one. Every decision you make affects every facet of every other fuckin’ thing. It’s too much to deal with almost. And in the end you’re completely alone with it all.”

glad you’re doing this…i’ll be an avid reader!
Same here. Has it really been 2 years? Every day something remimds me of the Sopranos. Whether its someone mentioning their kneecaps or my boyfriend wildly mowing on carrots when he’s thinking over a problem. That reminds me. When are they going to make a spinoff about him? miss Furio. I miss him every day. *sigh*
Speaking of Furio, I took my niece to see the Pink Panther 2 today and Furio makes a cameo in the opening scenes.

The Sopranos…a definite “Analyze This” knockoff, is an insult to Italians and ESPECIALLY the FBI and any New Jersey police department!
Except for Meadow Soprano, who is a real “Jewish Princess” BITCH…these Italian characters are UGLY, FAT folks! Pauley “57 Chevy Tail Fins hairdo” and Christa-foah…”The Beak” Moltasante…along with Dante…the weak-link ugly-pussed throwoff of the E Street Band, as well as all the other overweight clowns, (including Tony) like Janice Soprano, Pussy, and Bobby…and all those other degenerates!
New Jersey should PROTEST! Italians everywhere should protest! The Soprano kids…what ASSHOLES! Meadow is a total BITCH and AJ is a ridiculous excuse! The FBI and New Jersey law inforcement should take this “Analyze This” knockoff as an INSULT to their intelligence!
Great idea. I began watching The Sopranos a few months ago (on November 6th to be precise) and I am hooked.
I’m on Season 4 now but decided to take a break so that the end does not come as fast. I’d prefer to digest it better.
As Steve Turner said above, I’ll be an avid fan as well.
Fantastic site!! I look forward to seeing your views to Made In America.
